Field Recording #1: The Jewish Senior Residence Home

My first field recording took place on Sunday, September 28th at 2:00 p.m., across the street from my apartment on Bartlett Avenue, where there is a large Jewish Senior Residence Home. I noticed not long after I moved into my apartment that all of the residents in this home speak only, what sounds like, either Russian or German. As I was beginning my Drift I picked up bits and pieces of a conversation that two or three of the residents were having. Towards the end you can also hear a truck or SUV drive by on the street. For this recording I had my recorder in my pocket and my mics hanging just outside of my backpack. Play Sound Here
